Russia is ready to give back to Ukraine remaining in Crimea military equipment, said the Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
“On this occasion, what is called, I want to say: we are ready to continue the process, ready to transfer Ukrainian naval ships that are still in the Crimea, ready to pass aviation equipment, armored vehicles. However, they are all in such a poor condition… However, that is none of our business. It almost was in such a condition: over the years no one them served, of course,” said Putin during a meeting with leaders of the Russian print media and news agencies in the wording kp.ru.
According to him, we are talking about dozens of ships and dozens of aircraft.
Putin added that Russia is ready to help the Ukrainian military to transport ships to Odessa.
Crimea became a Russian region after a referendum held there in March 2014 in which the majority of respondents were in favor of reunification with Russia.
