Fines for unauthorized roadblocks in the courts of Crimea

The administration of Evpatoria promises to penalize residents who voluntarily install concrete blocks, flower beds and tires to restrict movement of vehicles in the yard and driveways. About it reports the  Department of public relations and mass media of administration of the resort.

The photographic materials confirming the facts of the overlap of drive-through areas of the city, have been collecting members of the community of the working group “Housing and utilities of Evpatoria”, which operates under the chief of administration. There they explain that the unauthorized obstacles become a real problem for   ambulance, fire assistance and refuse collection vehicles. In such cases, the rescuers have to find other ways to get access to fire, that in turn takes a lot of time. “Some people want to restrict the flow of traffic outside their windows, while others could pay with their lives. The situation is unacceptable,” — commented on the problem the first Deputy chief of administration Kirill Vavrenyuk.

The city government has instructed the Department of municipal control to fix the unauthorized constructions and to present requirements. The materials will be considered by the Commission on issues of road safety. The violators will face fines, and illegal structures will be dismantled.
